Intense red with ruby reflections. The nose reveals deep, persistent aromas of ripe fruits, blackberries, and cherries. On the palate, it is full, sweet, and complex, with layered hints of wild berries, jam, floral notes, and a subtle savoury touch. Long, persistent finish.

About this wine
A classic, traditional style with elegant sweetness and complexity, showcasing the richness of carefully dried and aged grapes.
In the cellar: Handpicked grapes are harvested in September and October, then dried for three months. Gentle pressing precedes traditional vinification, with two years of maturation in wood followed by bottle refinement.

Cantina di Monteforte
Founded in 1952 by 80 local growers, Cantina di Monteforte d’Alpone stands at the gateway to the Val d’Alpone, a zone renowned for its volcanic soils, the Bolca fossils, and the production of Soave Classico. Today, the cooperative unites over 600 members cultivating around 1,200 hectares of vineyards — 80% of which are classified DOC. The vineyards, primarily located on hilly, volcanic terrain, impart a distinctive minerality and depth to the wines. Combined with the area’s favourable exposure and mild climate, these conditions yield wines of notable harmony, freshness, and aromatic finesse. Cantina di Monteforte produces wines under several ranges — Clivus, Prima Pietra, Cantina di Monteforte, La Corte, and Re Teodorico — each expressing the cooperative’s dedication to quality, tradition, and the unique terroir of Soave.
