Description
Sourced from vineyards on the south-east side of the mountains in the upper Val d'Alpone, situated at 250 meters above sea level on lean, pebbly soils. The wine matures partly in barrique and partly in stainless steel tanks before blending after six months.
It shows an intense ruby red colour with aromas of wild berries complemented by spicy notes of black pepper and vanilla. A light tannic structure leads into a velvety palate, delivering robust body and a long, persistent finish.
