About this wine
A fruit-led Chianti Classico combining generous red fruit, subtle oak influence and a fresh, savoury character.
In the cellar: Most of the wine matures in stainless steel, while the Merlot spends six months in oak before blending, followed by a brief period of bottle maturation.

In 1959, Alberto Palombo acquired Luiano, captivated by its history and committed to continuing its long-standing tradition of viticulture. Early on, he made innovative choices, moving away from the mixed farming systems common at the time to focus exclusively on cultivating vines and producing wines of the highest quality. Today, the estate is carried forward by his son Antonio and grandchildren, Alessandro and Felicia, who share the family’s passion and dedication to excellence. By blending tradition with modern techniques, they craft wines that capture the aroma and flavour of perfectly ripened fruit, reflecting the meticulous care in both vineyard cultivation and winemaking.
