- Vinified with medium-length maceration on the skins and frequent pump-overs in the early stages of fermentation. Aged for eight months in new 50hl medium-toasted Slavonian oak barrels to refine depth and complexity.
- Often referred to as a “Baby Brunello,” this wine delivers the character and style of Tuscany’s iconic reds in a more approachable, early-drinking expression.
Description
Aged in new 50-hectolitre barrels in medium toasted oak from Slavonia for eight months. It’s vinification is made with middlelong soaking on the marcs with frequent repassing in the early stages of the fermentation. It is a vintage wine, intense ruby with clove and liquorice aroma. Often referred to as a ‘Baby Brunello’ It’s flavour is dry, savoury and vinous.
