Barbera d’Alba Superiore DOC

Rooted in the hills of Serralunga d’Alba, this small Langhe estate has developed around a historic vineyard immediately beneath Serralunga’s medieval castle. Its identity is closely tied to one of Barolo’s most distinctive and highly regarded areas. Steep slopes, favourable exposure and complex soils shape wines with natural structure, tension and a strong sense of origin. Rather than seeking a uniform house style, the estate allows the individual character of each vineyard and vintage to remain clearly expressed. Work in the vineyard is careful and measured, with each parcel harvested by hand as it reaches the right stage of ripeness. An organic approach and close attention to environmental care help protect the health of the soils and preserve the estate’s vineyards for the future. In the cellar, traditional methods are supported by patience and precision. The wines are matured in large barrels and released only when their structure and character have developed fully.
