Schweppes
Schweppes began in 1783, when Jacob Schweppe developed a way of capturing bubbles in water and founded the company in Geneva. He moved the business to London in 1792, and it went on to become one of the first major soft drink companies in the world. In 1835 Schweppes launched its first flavoured drink, an aerated lemonade.
