Leccino olives are a prized Italian variety, known for their smooth, oval shape and dark purple to black colour when ripe. These mild, fruity olives have a slight sweetness, making them ideal for eating or producing premium olive oil. Grown in Abruzzo, they are pitted and preserved in brine, similar in size to Kalamata and Taggiasca olives.
