The Cassetta family’s connection to olive oil dates back to the early 20th century in Puglia, Italy’s largest producer of high-quality extra virgin olive oils. Beginning with careful selection of local oils during the 1929 economic crisis, the family developed expertise in tasting, selecting, and marketing olive oils across Italy and into France. In 1984, the fourth generation founded a company to bottle and distribute premium extra virgin olive oils, combining tradition with innovation. The company was among the first in Italy to achieve certifications for 100% Italian and Terra di Bari DOP oils
