About the producer
Martini & Rossi was founded in Turin in 1863 by Alessandro Martini, Teofilo Sola and Luigi Rossi. A few months later, production moved to the nearby village of Pessione, where it remains today.

Luigi Rossi, a herbalist, created the original recipe for Martini Rosso, followed by Extra Dry and Bianco. The recipes are still secret, and Martini is now one of the most famous Italian brands in the world.
