- Ruby red, with aromas of ripe red berries. On the palate, it is sweetish yet fresh, with a long, rich, and persistent finish.
- Raisined Merlot grapes are softly pressed, macerated, and fermented in stainless steel. The wine matures for 12 months in tonneaux barrels, followed by blending and additional bottle aging.
- A refined Eastern Friuli red, showcasing the elegance and depth of the Pignolo grape, with a harmonious balance between richness and freshness.
Description
From vineyards grown in alluvial and pebbly plains, with red clay deposits in the Eastern Friuli region. Raisining of Merlot grapes. Soft pressing of grapes, maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Pignolo rests in tonneaux barrels for 12 months, followed by blending and bottle aging. Ruby red colour. The nose exhibits notes of ripe red berries. Sweetish with a pleasant fresh tasting, long and rich finish.
