Description
Known as the Black Label, this Gavi di Gavi expresses the true identity and personality of the Cortese grape, grown on the estate’s vineyards in Rovereto. Positioned on a sun-soaked hill with red, stony soils and old vines, this site represents one of the finest expressions of the Gavi crus.
The wine shows a straw-yellow colour, offering scents of cut grass, white flowers, medlar, and yellow citrus fruits. On the palate, it reveals a creamy, textured character with tropical fruit richness, vibrant citrus notes, and lingering touches of aromatic herbs.
As the winemaker describes: “Black Label was my first bottle, my first label, my first wine, made just the way I like it: lots of terroir, lots of hard work in the countryside, lots of minerality and a sea of tanginess.”
