Description
Produced from a special clone selection registered as V12, propagated from an ancient biotype of Perricone. The wine undergoes refinement partly in stainless steel vats and partly in new oak barrique for 36 months, followed by a minimum of 12 months’ bottle maturation.
It shows a beautiful intense purplish red colour. The nose reveals fresh fruit aromas, prominently plum and blueberry, with light notes of aromatic vegetable, cinchona, walnut husk, and pepper on the finish.
On the palate, it is powerful and vigorous, featuring dusty, long-lasting tannins balanced by an acidic note that guarantees persistence.
