The wine is refined for 24 months in large oak barrels and an additional 12 months in bottle to achieve complexity, structure, and harmonious integration of aromas.

Description
A traditional Etna blend of 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio, produced from vines up to 100 years old, grown in black, brownish volcanic sands and rocky soils on the slopes of Mount Etna. The winery remains committed to biodiversity, traditional values, and organic cultivation.
Refined for 24 months in large oak barrels and a further 12 months in bottle, the wine displays a deep ruby red colour. The rich bouquet opens with ripe red fruits and sweet spices, followed by enticing notes of leather, volcanic ash, and fresh mint. Velvety on the palate, it offers fine tannins, remarkable balance, and long, elegant persistence.
