Description
Made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, this wine is produced from vines aged up to 30 years, grown in volcanic soils on the slopes of Mount Etna. The winery, dedicated to biodiversity and sustainable practices, refines this wine through a unique maturation process: 50% aged for 12 months in stainless steel tanks, and 50% in oak barrels, followed by a further 12 months in bottle.
The result is a medium intensity ruby red colour with a fragrant bouquet of red berries, gentle spice aromas, and subtle volcanic ash notes. On the palate, it is fresh, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a savoury, mineral finish.
