Description
Ubriaco Rosso, a celebrated speciality from the Verona region of northern Italy, is lovingly known as “drunken cheese.” It is soaked in red wine and crushed grape skins for two months, then aged for 6–8 months. This traditional method produces a distinctive purplish to dark violet rind, a sweet, fruity flavour with subtle wine aromas, and a firm, semi-hard texture, making it a unique addition to cheese boards or gourmet dishes.
