About this wine
A precise, elegant Pinot Grigio IGT from Val d’Alpone, combining freshness, mineral expression, and modern winemaking finesse.
In the cellar: Grapes are softly pressed using lung presses. The must is immediately cooled, settled, and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 18°C, preserving purity of fruit and preventing skin contact.

Cantina di Monteforte
Founded in 1952 by 80 local growers, Cantina di Monteforte d’Alpone stands at the gateway to the Val d’Alpone, a zone renowned for its volcanic soils, the Bolca fossils, and the production of Soave Classico. Today, the cooperative unites over 600 members cultivating around 1,200 hectares of vineyards — 80% of which are classified DOC. The vineyards, primarily located on hilly, volcanic terrain, impart a distinctive minerality and depth to the wines. Combined with the area’s favourable exposure and mild climate, these conditions yield wines of notable harmony, freshness, and aromatic finesse. Cantina di Monteforte produces wines under several ranges — Clivus, Prima Pietra, Cantina di Monteforte, La Corte, and Re Teodorico — each expressing the cooperative’s dedication to quality, tradition, and the unique terroir of Soave.
