Description
This wine is crafted from just 2.5 acres of prime vineyard — the best-oriented, hilltop portion of Torraccia del Piantavigna’s estate in Ghemme. Special care is given to these Nebbiolo grapes, which are green-harvested, thinned, and vinified separately to preserve their exceptional quality. The vineyard’s westerly exposure and distinctive clay-rich soils characteristic of the Ghemme hills lend the wine a remarkable complexity and elegance, reflecting the heights Nebbiolo can achieve in this appellation.
A vibrant garnet red in colour, the nose opens with classic notes of wilted rose and fresh violets. On the palate, it delivers a full-bodied, structured character, with smooth, well-integrated tannins and a persistent, refined finish. Traditional ageing in oak and bottle ensures a balance between power, finesse, and aromatic depth.
