- Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The bouquet is elegant, offering spicy and fruity aromas, while the palate is rich and round with soft spice and subtle vanilla notes.
- Merlot grapes from warm basaltic soils and Corvina from the upper Val d’Alpone are left to dry for 30 days, concentrating fruit flavours and reducing weight by ~35%. After pressing, the must undergoes extended skin contact before maturing in cask for at least 12 months.
- A Ripasso-style expression that combines ripe, concentrated fruit with a smooth, structured body, showcasing both the mineral character of the terroir and the elegance of traditional Val d’Alpone winemaking.
Description
Merlot grapes are grown in the warm basaltic soil while Corvina is found in the upper Val d’Alpone. The grapes are left to dry in the vineyard for 30 days, this allows the concentration of the ripe fruit notes and the loss of about 35% of the weight. After pressing, the skins are left in contact with the must to release and transfer the typical colour of this wine. Aged in cask for at least one year. Intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The perfume is elegant, spicy and fruity. Rich, round with pleasant spicy and vanilla notes.
